lube filter elements include a by-pass valve located within the element filter. The previous filter
design did not include a by-pass valve and relied on the by-pass valve within the OEM housing to
operate properly. With the use of our new filter, the OEM by-pass will no longer be used. Baldwin
lube filter elements are the best choice as the aftermarket replacement for popular applications.
