An Introduction to Meritor Brake Calipers

Meritor calipers part numbers start with LRG and finish with a 3 digit ID number. With this
numbering system, caliper kits can be easily identified.

The range consists of both hydraulic and air actuated calipers for vehicle wheel sizes ranging from
16” for vans up to 22.5” fitted to truck, trailer and buses. The caliper range includes both axial and
radial versions and can be either 1 or 2 piece calipers. For more information on the different type
of calipers, please see the following pages.

The Majorsell kits will cover over 150 calipers and our kits have been adapted to increase effective
servicing and reduce costs.
